Dallas Hotel - Dubai

Having stayed in the Burj Khalifa the night before it came as a bit of a shocker but this hotel was one tenth the price of the one before so it was expected. It was just meant to be somewhere for our luggage before returning home. Plans changed and we ended up sleeping there. It turned out to be very practical and a lot of fun. Probably wouldn't stay there again but it had internet and the room was ok. I would not hesitate recommending it to those on a budget. Internet was free.

Internet was a bit on and off. Only one device at a time could be used. The beds were hard but ended up feeling quite comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel and was a bit smelly initially. The wiring in the room was "dodgy" with a light flickering and wires visible to a mains socket.

It was what it said it would be. The room was tidy, and the staff tried to be helpful, though there were a few language issues.

Parking was either difficult to find, or extremely expensive, with 24 hours parking costing almost as much as the room.

Hard to find for taxidrivers. Hotel staff had too limited knowledge on various issues. They should know more about different sights if it is to be a tourist hotel.

The hotel price is high equal to services provided, internet is chap with lots of disconnection.

The location of the hotel is good close to north part of dubai

There is no parking available near this hotel, only the public one, and if it is full you have to choose any other private parking with 10dhs / hour. The hotel is very old and needs renovation.

The location is good, easy to get public transport such as bus and taxi. Near to Dubai Museum and Bur Dubai bus station.

We check in to double room for 3nights during eid al adha holidays. The shower water pressure very low, had complained to the reception but no action taken until check out. Lift is old system needs upgrade. Complimentary breakfast was boring, everyday the same menu ie: toast bread, egg omelet and 'plain' vegetables salad. It was said buffet breakfast but only Iranian bread on display. The food service very slow since only 1 waiter available for all guests.

Near to bus station

The room and corridors has a certain old smell. The room seems it has not been clean for quiet some time. The towel looks used. The bathroom is not clean enough.

Poor cleaning of the rooms. Poor Information and and customer service.

To be honest nothing at all it shouldnt even be given a star no mind two stars.

Staff were rude ,we asked for a wake up call and the rang us an hour late .

Actually I didn’t like the hotel and it is good that just I book for 2 days only? After that I transfer for other hotel and I stay 3 nights.

The room too small and the carpet not clean, the TV very small and many channels not display, the AC it is (split unit) and it is very noise at night can’t sleep. The break fast just eggs, toast bread, batter, jam, juice & tea After that I transfer for other hotel and I stay 3 nights.

Nothing.No Buffet Breakfast.Price of Hotel same as other 3 Star Hotels and this Hotel is rated as 2 Star , whereas it should be rated as being without a Star.

Misinformation on location , listed by you as being close to the Khalid Bin al Waleed Metro Station whereas its 15 minutes walk to the Station and for a Business Visitor to Trade Shows like me to World Trade Centre, its inconvenient because walking back in the evening with heavy load of Literature is tiresome.Reaching the Station is possible in the morning by catching Public Bus .But the return is dreary and cumbersome.Difficult to catch Bus because one has cross road and also for such ride Taxis are not available.Locationally for people like me very poor.Food Facilities too very poor, had to eat out daily except for the limited Breakfast served.

The location is good...near to the main shopping area in the city..

Though the hotel room was no-smoking, there was heavy smell of smoke in the room.. was a bit nauseating..

Nothing! For over US$80 per night this hotel is disgraceful.

So many bad things. Terrible breakfast. Bad Internet connection that always cancels out. Noisy rooms from a motor or generator that vibrates throughout the hotel. Very average location with a long walk to the nearest metro. What more can I say! Dubai is expensive!

Its a compact hotel and the hotel staff were extremely co-operative and helped in all ways whenever approached. Pl. Keep it up, as this only will attract repeated customers to you.

1. Complimentary breakfast needs improvement, all the 3 days we were served only bread toast. 2. There is no hotel parking, which leads to paying extra. this needs urgent attention.
